It has been a long time between posts, so our apologies for being so late to finish the final story from our adventure from Melbourne to Cairns. The last story for the trip is below, and tells of some great stays at Townsville, Paluma Dam, Undara Volcanic Area, Mission Beach and our final destination of Cairns.

We've been living in Cairns for a few months now, renting to see if we can handle a tropical summer. So far so good, and it looks like this is the place for us to set down for the next phase of life. We've just bought an apartment that will be our home for the next few years, at least.
