After a great weekend in Krakov with Natalie and Dom, we headed south and into Slovakia. The border region between Poland and Slovakia is the home of the High Tatras, an alpine mountain range. When planning our grand adventure, this was one of the places we wanted to visit to do some walking. It was every bit as good as we had hoped.
We also spent time in the capital, Bratislava, a lovely little city in the south of the country where the borders of Slovakia, Austria and Hungary meet. We visited a well-preserved mediaeval castle and a fabulous modern art gallery while we were there.
We hope you enjoy our story of our Slovakian experiences as much as we enjoyed being there.
