The final story from our Grand Adventure before starting the long journey home is from County Antrim, the area to the north of Belfast. Our last stay was in the coastal town of Cushendall, in the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Two of Northern Ireland's most popular tourist attractions were close by, and we did day trips to both.
This is another charming part of this beautiful island. The coastal drives were amazing, and set against a backdrop of rolling hills. We hope you enjoy our travels as much as we did.
Although our trip has come to an end after 13 months, 24 countries, and countless cities, towns, trains, buses, ferries and flights, there is still more travelling to come. We will be back to Europe, and have more trips to India, Vietnam, and The Americas in mind. From our base in Cairns we will be doing a lot of exploring around our new home state of Queensland.
So look forward to more posts in the future!
