The next part of our adventure takes us into the Czech Republic, and into the land of palaces, lovely quiet cities and great local wines. The capital of the Moravian region, Brno, was our first stop. Brno quickly put itself up near the top of our favourites so far, along with Kraków and Antwerp. Make sure you visit when you are around here in the future!

When we were planning our trip we had a few places that were absolutely must-see attractions, and one, Villa Tugendhat in Brno, was near the top of the list. Do yourself a favour and at least have a look at the first part of this story to get a glimpse into one of the great houses of the world.

After a couple of weeks of so-so weather, the sun was out again, so we saw these great places at their best.
