Our journey through Croatia continues, moving northward to the coastal city of Zadar. Zadar is worth a visit in its own right, but it is also a base for a visit to one of Croatia's foremost attractions, Plitvice National Park.

Plitvice is an absolutely amazing wonderland of lakes and countless waterfalls. Visitors roam through this waters cape along boardwalks across the lakes, almost under the waterfalls. Part of the excursion is a short voyage on an electric boat, and another on a trolley-bus to a high trail to see the lakes and falls from above.
