Well, the time has come. After all our planning and packing up and setting up what will be our mobile home for the next few weeks, today we depart for the three-month journey up the east coast of Australia. We'll be exploring lots of places along the way, and hoping to find a place or two that we can retire to one day.

We've put together a very short story from our last house sit at Labertouche in the Latrobe Valley, where we've been for a few days doing the final preparations for the trip.

Now that we're on the way we will be trying to post updates every week or two along the way. We hope you enjoy the stories we tell of the places we see.
