Slovenia is a small country that has borders with Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia. Its location has meant it has been ruled by different empires over the centuries, each leaving its impressions.
Above all, visitors to Slovenia are treated to some of the most spectacular scenery imaginable. In the north-west of the country, the Triglav National Park in the Julian Alps has some of the most amazing landscapes anywhere. You will see what we mean when you see the photos we took.
Prepare to be as amazed as we were as you get a glimpse of the vistas this wonderful country provides.

I’ve been so focused on work over the last month I haven’t taken time out to enjoy my favourite past-time; reading your Walk the Walk sways! As someone who loves trees, lakes, and small European enclaves, the stories and photos from from Slovenia remind me of why I love them so much!!! Slovenia is now officially on my bucket list. I didn’t know much about the country before other than the fact that Melania Trump hailed from there. I wonder what the think of the ex-first lady.
Definitely one of the underrated places in Europe. Very modern, and compact enough to see all of it in a week or two. There are a couple of spots we missed, so it would rate another visit.
